Giving could be monetary, tangible items but can also be a physical and time sacrifice such as volunteering or running a marathon. On December 2nd, 2018, Alfred, Abraham and David ran the California International Marathon to raise funds for a clean water Well for a village of 10,000 people in Burkina Faso, West Africa!

It all started with “I would like to run the marathon to support FNTE” (Abraham Odufuwa) and “I will run it with you” (Alfred Koala); then “I am in” (David Bry). Our three men trained themselves and successfully crossed the finish line. Alfred and David did the relay 13.1 miles/21km each and Abraham did the entire 26.2 miles/42km.

All funds raised for the Marathon will go toward our next clean water well in Burkina Faso.  Alfred: “Our gratitude goes to all who have financially, prayerfully and physically made it to support the cause. Thousands of people will have clean water to drink as a direct result of your sponsorship. That’s the type of winning it’s all about”.

If you didn’t get a chance to sponsor, please support here.

Thank you from all of us at FNTE.
