From our founder, Koala:

The generosity of Americans is to be appreciated. In Chico for instance, I have been helped, supported and loved by friends who are now family to me; however there is no way I can forgot the many starving times I had with my relatives, the dirty water I drank with many other kids in the village, the orphans I shared my loneliest times with, and so on.

Along with friends like you, who open your hearts by helping the needy, we will give them the opportunity to make an everlasting, significant difference in their lives. In December 2008, I lost my dad while getting ready for my finals at Butte College, here in Chico, CA. Friends of mine from Butte and in the community of Chico asked how they could help. The answer we came up with was to make a significant impact that shifts living conditions in my village of Thyou. From there, we hope to bring help across Africa and the world.

From this idea, Feeding Nations Through Education was born, and we have already helped five families of twelve people, from which five kids are expected to attend school for the first time. With heartfelt and appreciation, my thanks goes to those of you who are making your loving gift count.

Thank you!
